The Kauffman Custom Studio Process

Every Novum build receives the same meticulous hands-on bench prep as our top-tier match shafts to guarantee absolute field reliability:

• 360° Roller Spine Indexing: We spin-test every shaft on precision dial-indicator rollers to verify dynamic stiffness and position your nocks for perfectly uniform flex out of your bow.

• Dual-End Diamond Truing: Carbon ends are precision-trimmed and squared using high-speed diamond wheels, ensuring a dead-flat 90-degree seating face for inserts, outserts, and nocks.

• Degreased Hand Fletching: Shafts undergo complete chemical degreasing before being wrapped in custom KCA wraps and hand-fletched with high-profile micro vanes (Q2i Rapt-X or AAE Max Stealth) for maximum steering authority.

• Weight-Sorted Dozens: Your full set is hand-sorted and grain-matched across the pack to eliminate vertical flyers and maintain tight downrange groupings.
