"Kauffman Custom Archery," "KCA," the KCA logo, "Test Flight Program," "Studio Bench Prep," and related product and service names are trademarks or trade dress of Kauffman Custom Archery LLC. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or redistribution of any site content or trademarks without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited.
3. Third-Party Brand & Trademark Disclaimer
Kauffman Custom Archery LLC is an independent custom arrow builder and retail studio.
All third-party brand names, trademarks, registered trademarks, product names, and model designations referenced on this Site (including, but not limited to, Easton Technical Products, Gold Tip, Victory Archery, Altra Arrows, Q2i Archery, AAE, CBE, and QAD) are the property of their respective owners.
Reference to, or sales of, third-party shafts and components does not imply direct endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation by those manufacturers, except where formal pro-staff, dealer, or ambassador agreements exist.
Resell of branded archery components is conducted in full compliance with lawful resale principles, including the First Sale Doctrine, and all products are listed in strict adherence to manufacturer Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) guidelines where applicable.
4. Custom Arrow Production & Specification Tolerances
All custom arrows built by Kauffman Custom Archery LLC are assembled to order based on the precise specifications submitted by the Customer during checkout (e.g., carbon cut length, point weight, wrap selection, vane configuration, and spine orientation).
Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for providing accurate draw length, draw weight, point weight, and safety specifications for your bow setup. KCA is not liable for structural damage, poor flight performance, or arrow failure resulting from incorrect customer-provided specifications, under-spined shaft selection, or improper bow setup.
Tolerances: While KCA utilizes high-precision bench prep standards (including 360° roller spine indexing and dual-end diamond wheel squaring), raw shaft material tolerances (such as factory straightness tolerances of \pm .001” or \pm .003” and weight tolerances of \pm 0.5 to 1.0 grain) are established by the underlying shaft manufacturer. Finished batch weight matching is completed within state tolerances based on raw material batches.
5. Assumption of Risk & Equipment Safety Disclaimer
WARNING: ARCHERY EQUIPMENT CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH IF IMPROPERLY USED OR MAINTAINED.
Inspection Requirement: Bowhunters and archers MUST inspect every arrow shaft, nock, broadhead, and component prior to EVERY shot (including performing a manual flex test). Never shoot a cracked, dented, splintered, or structurally compromised carbon shaft.
Assumption of Risk: By purchasing and using archery equipment from Kauffman Custom Archery LLC, you explicitly acknowledge the inherent risks associated with archery, bowhunting, and target shooting. You voluntarily assume all risk of personal injury, property damage, or death resulting from the use, misuse, storage, or handling of products purchased through KCA.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kauffman Custom Archery LLC, its founder, officers, employees, and agents shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use, misuse, or failure of any product sold on this Site.
6. Orders, Pricing, and Errors
Order Acceptance: Receiving an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. KCA reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline, or limit your order for any reason (including stock availability, component backorders, or pricing errors).
Pricing Errors: In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or technical glitch, KCA reserves the right to cancel or refund any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Legal Notice and all policies on this Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Site shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in El Paso County, Colorado.
